Our campaign centers on the idea “the problem is clear.” The problem is literally plastic, and the problem is also glaringly obvious. Our campaign pieces visually represent the threat of water bottle waste, and motivates the public to #passonplastic. This is done through a geo-specific ticker that counts the number of bottles thrown away in a particular city, as well as an interactive AR installation that shows people what popular tourist areas would look like covered in the plastic bottle waste produced by their city. An additional publicity stunt alerts musical festival attendees to the massive plastic waste from those events, and offers a fashionable alternative in an exclusive “water bar.”
